Create Product in Connectprof

With ConnectProf, you can manually add products to your admin panel.

NOTE: When adding new products, make sure that the information is not the same as the products coming from XML or API.

To manually add a product, click on Products > Add button.

A warning message will appear in the opened window: "The new product creation process will be added as empty according to your default settings. You will be directed to edit it later." If you want to add the product, click the "Add" button.

Click the "Add" button in the opened window.

A message will appear saying "New product successfully added, you are being redirected to editing." Once you click the "OK" button, the product editing window will open.

The product detail window will open.

The opened window contains general information about the product, sub-products, description fields, category settings, product photos, filters, and tags.

1. General Information

You can define the basic information of the product, price fields, title fields, stock fields, shipping information, subheading fields, and review the date information.

1.1. Basic Product Information: This section includes product details such as warehouse code, code, stock code, supplier code, barcode, group code, brand, model, pre-order status, product link, etc. You can add these details according to the product information.

You can select options such as age group, gender, pre-order amount, and sales status by clicking on the arrow on the right side.

Fields such as rating and reviews can be increased or decreased by clicking the up/down arrows. Other details can be modified by clicking on them.

1.2. Price Fields: This includes the product's price field name, list price, currency, and VAT rates. You can set a list and discounted price, add VAT rate, and select currency. You can also create new price fields to display different prices for each marketplace. For each price field you create, you can add list and discounted prices. For detailed information, click here.

1.3. Title Fields: You can define the main product title. You can also create new title fields to display different titles for each marketplace. For detailed information, click here.

1.4. Stock Fields: You can add the main product stock. You can also create new stock fields to display different stock quantities for each marketplace. For detailed information, click here.

1.5. Shipping Information: In the shipping information section, you can define the weight, size (length, width, height), shipping cost, and delivery time. These actions will only apply to the product you are editing.

1.6. Subheading Fields: If applicable, you can add subheadings to your product. You can also create new subheading fields to display different subheadings for each marketplace. For detailed information, click here.

1.7. Date Fields: This section is located at the bottom of the product editing page. It includes the product's add, update, price change, and stock change dates. You can check the last modifications made to the product in this area.

2. Sub-Products

From the "Sub-Products" tab, you can perform various operations such as creating new sub-products, changing sub-product details, and adding photos.

These fields will be empty when creating a new product.

2.1. Create New Variant: When you click this button, a new sub-product creation window will open.

2.2. Sub-Products: The sub-products you have added will be listed in this section. By clicking on them, you can access detailed information about the sub-product.

2.3. Basic Sub-Product Information: This includes code, stock code, supplier code, barcode, type 1 title, type 1, type 2 title, and active status. You can make changes to these fields as needed.

2.4. Price Fields: This section contains the price field name, list price, and discounted price of the product.

2.5. Stock Fields: This represents the stock of the sub-product. You can specify the stock quantity for the sub-product.

2.6. Photos: The images you have added will be listed in this section.

2.7. Add as File: Using the "Add Photo" + "Upload" buttons, you can upload images from your computer.

2.8. Add as Link: You can add an image to the product using a link.

2.9. Save Changes: After adding your product information, click the "Save Changes" button.

3. Description Fields

3.1. Description Fields: Before adding a description, select the description field to be used and then add the product details.

3.2. Description: You can add descriptions relevant to your product details. You can include text, images, and code attachments.

3.3. Additional Field Information: You can add new information for the product by using additional fields.

3.4. SEO Information: You can also add SEO information for the product from this section.

3.5. Save Changes: After adding your product details, click the "Save Changes" button to save the information.

4. Category Settings

4.1. Categories: You can select a product category by choosing from the available categories. When selecting, make sure to choose the lowest level category.

4.2. Category List: This section will list the categories that have been mapped to the marketplace.

5. Product Photos

You can preview, add photos, upload as files, or add photos via link.

5.1. Product Photo Preview: This section shows the preview of the photos you have added. You can review the total, successful, and failed photo uploads.

5.2. Photos: The photos you have added will be listed here. You can also delete images if needed.

5.3. Add as File: You can upload images from your computer as files.

5.4. Add as Link: You can add an image by providing a link.

6. Filters and Tags

Product tags, filters, and current integrations are available.

6.1. Product Tags: Member groups available on your site will be listed here. When transferring products to the marketplace, you can choose to transfer only tagged products and avoid transferring non-tagged products for sale.

6.2. Filters: If there are any filter details for the product, you can add them here.

6.3. Existing Integrations: The integrations associated with the product will be listed here.
